DAY 1: LIMA CITY TOUR

Day 1: Lima City Tour

  • Start: Hotel pickup and beginning of the tour.
  • Modern Lima: Visit to Miraflores, Love Park with an ocean view, panoramic tour of Huaca Pucllana, and the olive tree forest in San Isidro, Lima’s financial center.
  • Colonial Lima: Tour of the Historic Center (UNESCO World Heritage Site), San Martín Square, colonial balconies, Archbishop’s Palace, Desamparados Station, Cathedral Basilica, and Municipal Palace.
  • San Francisco Convent: Visit to the ancient library, choir, main cloister, and catacombs.
  • End of the Tour: Return to the hotel.

Day 2: Paracas - Ballestas Islands - Huacachina

  • Departure from Lima: Pickup from hotels and hostels.
  • Trip to Paracas: Luxury bus with reclining seats, USB ports, TV, and onboard restrooms.
  • Ballestas Islands: 2-hour boat tour, spotting sea lions, penguins, and birds.
  • Free Time in Paracas: Option for a buffet with an ocean view or a walk through the town.
  • Trip to Huacachina: Stories about the history and myths of the oasis.
  • Exploring Huacachina: Walk around the oasis, relax on the dunes, or enjoy the pool.
  • Dune Buggy & Sandboarding: 2-hour dune tour and sandboarding experience.
  • Overnight in Huacachina or transfer to Nazca (depending on package selection).

Day 3: Nazca lines to Lima

  • Early Morning Transfer to Nazca: Private transportation from Huacachina to Nazca.
  • Nazca Lines Flight: 30-40 minute flight over the enigmatic geoglyphs.
  • Visit to Nazca Town: Optional visit to the María Reiche Museum or Chauchilla Cemetery.
  • Lunch in Nazca (Not included).
  • Bus Transfer to Puno: Overnight bus ride with reclining seats for a comfortable journey.

Day 4: Puno - Uros Islands

  • Early Arrival in Puno: Pickup from the bus terminal and transfer to the port.
  • Boat Trip to Uros Islands: Visit the floating islands made of totora reeds.
  • Interaction with Uros Community: Learn about their way of life, traditions, and reed boat construction.
  • Exploring the Islands: Free time to walk around and take photos.
  • Return to Puno: Arrival at the port and transfer to hotels.

Day 5: Uros Islands - Taquile - Puno

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Departure to Taquile Island: Boat ride across Lake Titicaca with stunning views.
  • Arrival in Taquile: Walk through the island while learning about its unique textile art (UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage).
  • Traditional Lunch: Fresh trout or vegetarian option prepared by local families (included).
  • Exploring Taquile: Free time to enjoy the landscapes and interact with locals.
  • Return to Puno: Boat trip back, arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Puno - Cusco. Pick up and Transfer

  • Morning Pickup: Transfer from hotel in Puno to the bus station.
  • Tourist Bus to Cusco (optional upgrade to private transfer).
  • Arrival in Cusco: Evening drop-off at hotel.

Day 7: Cusco City Tour

  • Tour Duration: 5 hours, with morning (8:30 AM – 2:00 PM) and afternoon (1:00 PM – 6:30 PM) shifts.
  • Places Visited:
    • We will visit the traditional streets of Cusco and the Main Square.
    • Qoricancha: Temple of the Sun with advanced Inca architecture.
    • Sacsayhuamán: Complex of large stone blocks used for festivities.
    • Qenqo: Site for astronomical and religious purposes.
  • End: Return to Cusco’s Main Square or the hotel.

Day 8: Sacred Valley

  • Start: 7:00 AM in Cusco.
  • Itinerary:
    • Chinchero: Visit to an Inca archaeological site and traditional textile demonstration.
    • Moray: Circular Inca terraces, history, and photo opportunities.
    • Maras: Inca salt mines.
    • Urubamba: Lunch (Not included).
    • Ollantaytambo: Tour of the archaeological site (option to stay here).
  • End: Return to Cusco at approximately 6:00 PM.

Day 9: Machu Picchu

  • Early Pickup: We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley.
  • Trip to Ollantaytambo: 1.5-hour journey in private transportation to the train station.
  • Train Ride: 1 hour and 50-minute journey from Ollantaytambo through the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes.
  • Arrival in Aguas Calientes: Meet with the representative or tour guide and transfer by bus to Machu Picchu (25 minutes).
  • Tour in Machu Picchu: 2 to 3-hour guided tour of the historic sanctuary, exploring its Incan architecture and engineering.
  • Return to Aguas Calientes: Bus ride back, with free time for lunch (Lunch not included).
  • Return by Train: Train ride back to Ollantaytambo, where a representative will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley.

Day 10: Free Day

  • Relaxing day in Cusco.

Day 11: Rainbow Mountain

  • 05:00 AM: Pickup at your hotel.
  • Transfer to the starting point: 3-hour drive to the hiking starting point.
  • Buffet breakfast: Provided at the starting point.
  • Hike to Rainbow Mountain: 1.5-hour hike, with 30 minutes to explore and take photos.
  • Visit to Red Valley: 40-minute tour.
  • Return walk: 1-hour hike back to the starting point.
  • Buffet lunch: After the hike.
  • Return to Cusco: Arrival at your hotel around 5:00 PM.

Day 12: Humantay Lake

  • Early pickup at the hotel at 5:00 AM and a 3-hour transfer to Soraypampa, where the 2-hour hike to the turquoise lagoon begins.
  • Free time at the lagoon for photos and a guided tour.
  • 1-hour descent back to Soraypampa, then a bus to Mollepata to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
  • 1.5-hour return from Mollepata to Cusco after lunch. Arrival around 5:00 PM.

Day 13: Transfer Out bye bye

  • Transfer from the hotel to the airport.
  • End of services.
