  • 2.5-hour drive to the community of Cuncani for breakfast with stunning views.
  • 3-hour uphill hike to Hullkiccasa Pass (4,200 m) with breathtaking Andean scenery.
  • Gourmet lunch prepared by the trekking chef.
  • 2-hour descent to the campsite in Kiswarani, enjoying picturesque landscapes along the way.

Day 2: Kiswarani – Pachacutec Pass – Cancha Cancha

  • Morning breakfast followed by a 4-hour steep hike to Pachacutec Pass (4,700 m).
  • Enjoy spectacular views of glaciers, alpine lakes, valleys, and llama herds.
  • Short descent to a lunch spot in the Andes.
  • 2-hour descent to the camp near Cancha Cancha (3,700 m).
  • Meet locals in one of the most traditional mountain communities and learn about their lifestyle.

Day 3: Cancha Cancha – Huaran – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

  • 3-hour downhill hike to Huaran in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
  • Visit the Maras salt mines to learn about traditional salt production.
  • Explore Moray, an Inca agricultural laboratory.
  • Enjoy lunch in Ollantaytambo before boarding a 7:00 p.m. train to Aguas Calientes.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

  • Early morning bus to Machu Picchu to witness the sunrise.
  • 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu followed by free exploration.
  • Option to hike Huayna Picchu (separate ticket required).
  • Return to Aguas Calientes, take the train to Ollantaytambo, and then a bus back to Cusco.
  • Drop-off at your hotel in Cusco.
