Day 1: Cusco – Kilometer 104 (Chachabamba) – Aguas Calientes
- Pickup: 4:00 a.m. at the hotel in Cusco with the guide.
- Transport: Private bus to Ollantaytambo (1.5 hours) and train to Km 104, the starting point of the hike.
- Hike: Begin the 2-day Inca Trail, visiting archaeological sites like Chachabamba and Wiñayhuayna.
- Scenery: Enjoy views of the Urubamba River and orchids.
- Wiñayhuayna: Stop for a break and box lunch.
- Inti Punku: Pass through the Sun Gate to enjoy the sunset with fewer tourists.
- Machu Picchu: Walk 45 minutes to the citadel, then take a bus to Aguas Calientes.
- Dinner: Coordination and planning for the guided tour the next day.
Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco
Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco
- Early breakfast (around 5:00 am).
- Guided tour of Machu Picchu citadel (approx. 2.5 hours) through the main Inca temples and palaces.
- Free time to explore or hike Huayna Picchu (optional, additional cost).
- Descent to Aguas Calientes for lunch, then take the train to Ollantaytambo and return by car to Cusco (approximate arrival: 7:00 pm).
- End of services.
