Overnight camping in Wayllabamba at 2,900 meters (9,514 feet) above sea level. Day 2: Wayllabamba – Ayapata – Warmiwañusca – Pacaymayo Day 2: Wayllabamba – Ayapata – Warmiwañusca – Pacaymayo. Early start to take advantage of the mountain shade. Ascent to the first pass of the Inca Trail: Warmiwañusca (4,200 meters above sea level), the highest point of the trail.
